RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif. - Today, VSP Vision™ announced it is simplifying and enhancing the VSP™ Premier Edge and Professional Eye Care Associates of America PECAA Max programs to deliver more value and industry-leading support for private practice. The changes, taking effect on January 1, 2026, will streamline and clarify the services offered with each program, making it easier for providers to identify and adopt the programs that best fit their needs.
“Based on doctor feedback, VSP Premier Edge and PECAA Max are evolving to make the experience simpler for practices, while keeping the strengths that matter most to independents,” said VSP Vision Chief Provider and Industry Solutions Officer Michelle Skinner. “We’re in it every step of the way with private practice doctors, which means VSP is doubling down on investments that deliver greater value, support, and stability to private practice optometry.”

“Private practice doctors look to PECAA for resources and tools to build their practices and maximize their profitability,” said PECAA President Jonathan Worrall. “The PECAA team strives every day to deliver on those needs. We are delighted that now, looking to 2026, PECAA Max will include even more support from Marchon, Altair, and VSP Vision to further fuel private practice success.”
These simplifications and enhancements are the latest examples of VSP’s commitment to accelerating support for private practice. In addition to increasing the VSP Vision Exam Rebate, it also announced it would not raise prices on Marchon or Altair products in response to tariff increases through the end of 2025. In May, VSP also announced more than $1 million in debt relief had been provided through the VSP Vision Student Loan Repayment Program, helping alleviate the financial pressures faced by many doctors and optometry students.
